Our Benefit Payment Allocation documentation enables you to document the manner in which a member’s total benefit payments for a financial year are to be allocated.

Our documentation records the payment of all of the minimum pension payment requirements in relation to the member’s income streamsin the first instance, then, should a surplus of benefit payments remain, you have the following options in relation to how the surplus payments are allocated in the accounts of the member:

• As a payment entirely from the member’s Accumulation Account;
• A portion as a payment from the member’s Accumulation Account and a portion as a payment from one or more of the member’s income streams; or
• As additional payments from one or more of the member’s income streams.

• The allocations, once recorded, continue for future financial years until the allocation request is revoked by the member, meaning, if they continue to be appropriate, the Member does not have to outline their requested allocations each financial year;
• The documentation can be used with any trust deed as long as it permits the relevant benefit payments to the member;
• You can record the minimum pension payments for up to 10 income streams for a member via one set of documents; and
• There are flexible options regarding the allocation of the benefit payments over and above the minimum pension payment allocations.
