Badging, White Labelling

Topdocs documents and My Document Portal can be re-branded with your own name, logo, colour scheme and service name as you request. This gives you an instant interactive web presence and a renewed marketing strength through which to encourage new referral business. Your clients can also login directly from your own website and even register as new users as your clients.

Topdocs wholesales SMSF, Corporate and Legal documentation, and documentation delivery in a number of ways and with a variety of pricing models for dealer groups, SMSF administrators, Legal Practices or other document intermediaries.  Some of these are as follows:

• Badging – Orders can be placed through our service and documents badged to your livery OR run the online service through your website (co-branded or white labelled as below) and only the full service documents need to be badged.
• Co-branding - Orders can be placed through the My Document Portal service provided on your website.  You have the major branding but we supply the document support (co-branded or white labelled as below) and only the full service documents need to be badged. We provide the payment gateway in this instance.
• Full white labelling – This is similar to co-branding with orders placed through the My Document Portal service provided on your website. The difference is that all branding is in your livery and as far as your clients are concerned you are the document supplier. The payment gateway can be your payment gateway or through the Topdocs payment gateway.

Badging

Topdocs SMSF and corporate documents can be badged according to your requirements. For instant download documents there would not be any mention of Topdocs and you would supply your own cover sheets.  For full service documents you would supply your logo any required artwork to Topdocs and we will badge all documents under your label.

White labelling or co-branding

The Topdocs My Document Portal site can be fully white labelled or co-branded for organisations such as dealer groups, SMSF administrators, Legal Practices or other document intermediaries.

Online registration from your own website will show the documentation system labelled or co-branded with your logos and colours.

Full white labelling can also involve you also utilising your own payment gateway if you wish.  In this method Topdocs has no presence at all. All invoicing is through your own gateway under your name.  Reports generated by the system show all income received by you and the amount due to Topdocs for its share of the document fees.  This is paid monthly by direct debit.

Co-branding involves mostly your labelling but with Topdocs shown as the site administrator for queries and document support.  Payments are made through the Topdocs payment gateway so that while invoices would still be in your name they will note that Topdocs will appear in the credit card statement.  Topdocs will report to you monthly and pay you your share of the document income by direct debit.

The online registration from your own website has exactly the same capabilities as the Topdocs My Document Portal site except for administrator access.  New clients can register through your link and they are recognised as your clients in the system.  You can determine the price list (or price lists as you can have different lists for different client types) applicable, the documents that your clients have access to, and whether they can access documents in the “Information documents” section.  Your clients can partly complete an order and come back to it later, view previous orders and upload SMSF deeds or other documents with orders if required.

Standard payments are made by credit but other methods may be negotiated.

Delivery of instant download documents is, well, instant. Full service documents are delivered by overnight express.  Again they can be stamped under your name.

Pricing

The white labelling process has been automated by Topdocs so that initial establishment costs to start are minimal.  Ongoing fees only relate to document fees.

Reducing Administrator and Adviser Risk

Topdocs provides instant download for all documents that don’t have significant legal document risk.  Certain documents such as SMSF deed upgrades, trustee changes and SMSF loan documents involve significant legal risk and so Topdocs only provides these as full service and provides letters of legal oversight. Generally legal document risk for advisers is involved where advisers are making interpretation of legal documents to create a new document or effectively providing advice in relation to the creation of legal documents.  The mere completing of a form whether paper or online is not necessarily providing legal advice but if there is an advice or recommendation element legal risk is involved.

The repercussions of legal risk can be substantial for advisers and if an aggrieved beneficiary or prospective beneficiary decides to sue the Professional Indemnity Insurers of Accountants or Financial Planners are unlikely to stand behind the claim. Where Topdocs provides letters of Legal Oversight our legal Professional Indemnity comes in to play.

Ongoing Updates of SMSF deeds and pensions

All of the SMSF deeds will have their information recorded on our deed database.  This means that deeds can be automatically updated as required.  As we have already undertaken legal oversight, further oversight (on deed upgrades) is not required.  This also means that no order forms are required and there are reduced prices for the subsequent deed upgrades. We also offer individually tailored annual compliance letters.  These legal letters confirm that the particular trust deed (if appropriate) does not need to be updated. 

The data for any SMSF pensions or conversions (whether full service or instant download) is stored in a pension database.  This allows for very simple and cost effective pension resets.

Privacy

Topdocs will complete privacy agreements with all white label and co-branded clients.
